It is clear glass with a ruby stained flower and leaves. the NTHCS reports this little holder to be scarce and not easily found. I thank the NTHCS for this information and hope their convention in Pittsburgh this month is a Hugh success. This toothpick has no major damage but does show many years of use and enjoyment. There is loss of the stain on the item. The crystal is clear but has some roughness on the opening rim.
